There are always going to be a million things to research when writing a book, and if you can eliminate some of that by being an expert already, that's AWESOME. I have to laugh because I alway...Thank you, Aubrey! I have to laugh because I always stress to friends/family that my stories are fiction, that they're not about me or them at all, but then when I think about all the little things pulled from real life, they do add up--I guess it's the way authors select, arrange, and fictionalize them in part that puts the pieces together to create an entirely different whole. In any case, I'm always happy to meet fellow teachers, too, and learn how they were called to the profession!
